Who we are

Tapestry National Floors Ltd (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at enquiries@tapestryfloors.com or on 07980 989340.

What we collect

When you submit a quote enquiry we collect the details you enter: your name, postcode, phone number, email address, the flooring you are interested in and the approximate area. We also record the date and time you gave consent for us to contact you.

We do not ask for special category data, and we do not collect payment details through this website.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry — preparing an estimate, arranging a measure and contacting you about your project. Lawful basis: your consent, and steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
  • To keep records of enquiries and work carried out. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running and evidencing our business.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we never sell or rent your data.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run the website and communicate with you — our website and database hosting provider and our transactional email provider — and with our own estimators and fitters where needed to deliver your quote or installation. These providers process data on our instructions only. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiry records are kept for 12 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a job, we keep the records needed for tax, accounting and warranty purposes for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • ask us to delete your data;
  • object to or ask us to restrict how we use it;
  • ask us to transfer your data to another provider;
  • withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these, email enquiries@tapestryfloors.com. We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
